For some time after birth, this juvenile is carried around by its mother in her front pouch. As it grows larger, it begins to spend time on the ground, often chasing after its mother’s tail. It enjoys mock fighting against her thick tail brush, a playful routine that helps hone its combat skills. If another member of the troupe has a fluffier tail, the juvenile may go after them instead, forcing their mother to chase after them.
