Thick fur keeps this lanky juvenile warm as it gambols about with other Tera Girafo calves. It has a quite inquisitive nature and often will nibble on any plants it comes across. If it finds a particularly tasty option, it may headbutt other juveniles away from it, trying to keep its find for itself. As the calf grows, small horn buds begin to develop, and researchers should be wary when working around these creatures to avoid injury.
