This stocky calf has grown at an incredible speed since it emerged, and it consumes grass at an equally astounding rate. Now that it has been weaned, it will sometimes absentmindedly wander off into nearby fields in search of new areas to graze, but it never travels far before rejoining the safety of the herd. You often find it locked in playful tussles with other juveniles, although it rarely seems to come to any harm.
