At first, this juvenile is rather sedentary, remaining in its nest while its parents bring it food. However, after a week or so, it begins to venture out after them. As it grows used to dashing about on its spindly legs, it is soon able to catch moths and other insects with ease and seems to enjoy chasing after its fluttering prey.
