Almost from the moment it emerged, this juvenile has been trotting around after its parents. For the first week or so, they feed it most of the food it consumes, but as it observes their feeding patterns, it begins to forage for itself. However, if hungry and unable to find something, it will make sharp chirping noises until one of its parents feeds it.
