The lab matches its owner: Scruffy. Stacks of note pads sit beside the data access terminals, filled with notes and calculations, perhaps complimenting the sticky notes that halo the monitor. Beside the door, two tall display panels shows Alfa's upcoming schedule and a list of tasks and reminders. Each wall has been repainted with scenes of natural habitats. Photographs of favourite locations have been made to look like windows on the walls. The floor does a convincing imitatation of mossy grass. The room smells of pine and rubbing alcohol -not animal waste, despite the many enclosures.
