While Risse's lab itself is clean and tidy, with nary a file or capsule misplaced, the walls within are a completely different story. She's one of the scientists who releases her creatures into the wild once they're grown, and in the absence of their real bodies, the walls are covered from top to bottom in photographs of the various creatures she's raised. Post-it notes are slapped onto the photographs, some with lab notes. Others, like the one stuck to a photo of a wriggling calico Avka Felo, have silly, pointless remarks like "Best Girl!!!".
