The matte-black door opens easily to reveal Kari Thina's lab, a subterranean atrium with Cielarka Cimo flying freely amongst the glowing Kaverno Musko that is scattered throughout much of the lab. Clearly leaning well into the cave aesthetic, the scientist is decked entirely out in black - down to their lab coat. "It's partly personal taste but also ensures I don't interfere with my own studies on the bioluminescent life here" they clarified while gesturing at their clothes.
