You tap it rhythmically, hearing some mechanical movement sounds and the door unlock. Passed the gate, you see a post apocalyptic styles research room. All equipment are state-of-the-art, but covered with weathering paints. Some bird dragon-like creatures looking at you curiously, as if to say -- Welcome to the laboratory.
